GoDaddy Vs InMotion Hosting 2019

GoDaddy is the largest domain name registrar, so it’s only natural that they offer web hosting to go with it.
InMotion Hosting is a web hosting company that offers shared hosting, reseller hosting, and VPS’s.
Current Pricing: $3.99
Current Pricing: $2.95

GoDaddy is universally regarded and one of the worst web hosting providers. Unfortunately, can confirm that this is the case. I do understand that it is very convenient to buy hosting with GoDaddy since you may already have your domain name registered there. InMotion Hosting will provide a much more superior experience all around and at a lower cost. InMotion Hosting provides 24/7 phone support to help you when you need it. Also with InMotion Hosting, you get free SSL certificates where with GoDaddy you will be paying $50 per certificate per year. In this comparison, the recommendation goes to InMotion.

GoDaddy Pros

  • Phone Support Available

InMotion Hosting Pros

  • FAST Web Hosting with FREE SSDs
  • FREE SSL Certificate
  • FREE 1-click installer
  • FREE cPanel for easy server management
  • FREE domain to get you started

GoDaddy Cons

My personal experience with GoDaddy is that they have very low-quality servers that are overloaded with customers. This leads to slow websites.Another huge negative is they force your WordPress websites to user their caching plugin which causes all sorts of problems and will break any dynamic website features such as shopping carts, membership areas, and WooCommerce.

InMotion Hosting Cons

If you are transferring from another web host to InMotion Hosting, the transfer process can take some time. With so many new customers signing up each day for new website hosting, the transfer queue can get backed up.This is why I created a tutorial video on how to speed up the process by doing the majority of it yourself, fast and easy.
