    Great tip. I switched from All in one SEO to Yoast as they seem to be constantly improving and optimizing the plugin.

    I just added yoast seo. The default for Author archives = disabled. It makes sense, don’t index what is already in the blog for a single author blog. But, it broke my About Me page. It redirected that page to my Home page. Probably because in my theme, it’s tied to my user/author in WordPress.

    I seem to have fixed the issue by setting Author archives = Enabled and also setting Show Author Archives in Search results = NO.

    Is that technically the same thing as setting Author Archives = Disabled.
