How to Steal WordPress Content & How to Protect It – WordPress Security

This is the most important WordPress training for any content creator. I will show you how people are stealing your paid content and how to fix the problem.

I am dubbing this “Content Hacking” because its not about accessing your WordPress admin area, it's about accessing your paid content without paying for it.

The really sad part is that most content creators don't even know this is happening, but it is.

The reason it is happening so much is because it is SO EASY to do.

In this video I show you how to protect yourself. It mainly involves adding a custom function to your WordPress theme's functions.php file. The fix is so simple that anyone can do it, however if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, the folks at InfusionPage can do it for you.

Exclude Posts or Pages from Search Results

function SearchFilter($query) {
    if ($query->is_search) {
    return $query;

Disable WordPress Search

function fb_filter_query( $query, $error = true ) {

if ( is_search() ) {
$query->is_search = false;
$query->query_vars[s] = false;
$query->query[s] = false;

// to error
if ( $error == true )
$query->is_404 = true;

add_action( 'parse_query', 'fb_filter_query' );
add_filter( 'get_search_form', create_function( '$a', "return null;" ) );

Let me just clarify that I don't condone hacking in any way. This post is not meant to teach people how to steal anyones content, its intention is to show content creators how to protect the content they create.

  1. Do you use this on your own site? If so, how are you able to allow searching of your videos?

    1. Adam @ WPCrafter says:

      I use a membership plugin to protect what I need protected.

  2. Sarkari Naukri says:
