Images attached as a background to section or column elements do not display on actual mobile devices. In the tablet/phone previews, they work fine, even in chrome dev tools and online mobile emulators. If I test the same exact image on another word press install that's not using Elementor the image renders as a background image correctly. I've contacted Emulator support as I have a pro version but there support is slow as an old dog on hot August day! My client's getting pissed!

There must be something going on with your WordPress site because it works fine for me. Also, I have never heard of anyone bring up that issue in the past.

I would suggest disabling all of your plugins except Elementor and then testing it out.

Hi Adam, I am experiencing the same problem. I am using the Astra theme with one of the starter sites I customized. The images that are backgroung images in a section does not display on my mobile. I will send you the login details to my test site where the site is currently. Please contact me via e-mail

Hate to necro-post, but found this very brief discussion after searching for these symptoms. Disabled all plugins and indeed I have no background images on my mobile device. After trusting the “responsive” preview this is a sever issue. Has anyone moved the ball forward on this issue, because it is indeed an issue.
