Hi Adam. You are mentioning SiteGround in the tutorial video for buddyboss and you mentioned cloudways another video. What should I use for my community website if I am planning it for around 1000-1500 users?

Yes so for that video I did use SiteGround which is a great host, but if your website is going to have that amount of concurrent users, you may want more hosting resources for your website.

In that case, I would look to Cloudways because you will get more resources and they are dedicated resources. And you can easily scale up your resources.

However 1,000 users doesn't mean 1,000 users clicking on your website at the same time. Hosting resources are only being used when content is loading, not when someone is reading content or when someone is watching a video.

So you would want to evaluate how many users will be clicking at the same time and you may realize the number is much lower.

Thanks a lot for a quick reply Adam.

So sir for how many concurrent users can I use siteground's geeky hosting plan? As I am planning this community website for an already existing offline school.

And sir there was one more thing I wanted to ask you. That as this website is a kind of for Mathematical School, how can I implement latex typeset in forum replies and all.

You could safely have 100 – 200 people clicking at the same exact time.
