QuestionsHow to remove the page title when using a page builder
Serwaa Anokye asked 2 years ago

The page title shows up on my website and I can't get rid of it.  The page title selector said it would hide if header is h1 on some themes.  I am using the child theme of generatepress wplms that you sent.

Each theme handles page builder compatibility differently. For example, the Astra Theme will automatically know when you are using a page builder and make the adjustments for you.

With GeneratePress there are options on each page for elements you want to remove on that page. One of those options is the page title. This is the best way to do it with GeneratePress.

Elementor has a feature where it will try to automatically do it for you, but it's not perfect and requires knowing a bit of CSS.

Change the font size of words (title, subtitle, breadcrumbs) you want to disappear to zero – that’s what I did in elementor editor and it worked perfectly The hide title plug in wouldn’t work and the hide title toggle in Elementor editor didn’t work either
