Hi. Newbie. I mean really Newbie. I have Bluehost, WordPress, Astra, Elementor and goodness what other bells and whistles I bought because I was told I needed them and they were the best choice. So, I am invested in these items. Anyway, I watched tutorials (WPCrafter dude is the best) I want something that says, “pick up mouse, put it here, click left mouse button, now do this.” I can't afford the course offered (wish I could). I feel really dumb because I'm just not getting it and I know I should.

    So, suggestions?

Hi Bette, so what are you wanting to accomplish?

Is it to use Astra & Elementor to make a website? Any particular type of website?

I want to make sure I point you in the right direction.

Thank you for your reply. A friend asked me to build a website for her. “Sure”, I said. “No problem”, I said. Ha!

I want to use Astra (I have a theme) and Elementor to create basic site with blog. I have the pages (placeholders) created, have the nav in place, but am stuck on probably the easiest thing to do — have the page layout (template?) with a block? section? columns? into which I will put photos and text.

BTW – I am a former corporate trainer and I am very impressed with your videos, you're easy to understand and explain things very well.

Again, thank you for your help. I know this will “click” at some point.

I've narrowed down my question — I want to have templates (?) with specific layouts I can select when creating a page.

I've done more searching and, “By jove, I think I've got it!” Light bulbs are going off and I'm catching on. Using your videos. Love it. Thanks
