QuestionsCategory: Page BuildersHow to & which builder plug-in to accept payment and registrations for classes and setup class calendars?
Elsje Bos asked 5 months ago

Hi, I am switching to WordPress from gocentral. I am needing to know which specific plug-in and version of that plug-in will allow me to setup (and how-to?!) class calendars and accepting online class registrations, including accepting payments online, for classes in various locations. I plan to offer approx 10 different classes monthly, which will change monthly (held in various changing locations.) Thank you!

Hi, Thank you for responding. Yes: I teach 2 hour paint party classes/events. It is a different painting each time. They are at various locations. The classes/events are held on different days all throughout the week. They are not on-going, each class stands alone. (Paint & sip painting events.) I teach my courses live, in-person. I do not teach courses on-line whatsoever. I am looking for a way to:
1.) Advertise classes on my website in calendar format. Hopefully by adding a pic to each calendar date, where those wanting to attend can click on the calendar painting pic of their choice.
2.) I am ALSO wanting to advertise the classes/events on my website by listing: painting, location, etc., with a photo of the painting.
3.) Regardless of how someone chooses a class/event (calendar or other listing on my website) I need a registration form once they click on their class for them to be able to sign up AND pay for the class.
From what I understand so far, when I switch to WordPress, I will need:
1: Drag & drop type of plug-in for greater ease and flexibility in designing my website (Beaver Builder or other??? Elementor???)
2: Registration Form plug-in (which one??)
3: Payment plug-ins (I accept Paypal and Clover, so I think I need both (2 separate) plug-ins
Thank you so much! I’m so lost. I’ve never attempted WordPress before, but need the greater flexibility it offers compared the extreme limitations of GoCenral format. (I’m in contract with GoDaddy and have a limited amount of time left to switch over from gocentral platform to wordpress platform.)
I hope this makes things clearer?

Can you better explain what you are trying to do? Sounds like you may want an events plugin.
