    Hello everyone,

I developed a page for a site that lists about 40 historical personalities featured in a novel. You can see the page as it stands (forget about the partial animation etc…that's all going).

    http://therussiantrilogy.com/historical-figures/

It's my first site, but I thought the presentation was bad and the Total theme developer suggested I use Custom Post Types for this kind of repetitive content blocks. But I understood nothing about CPTs and how to use them in this context, until I watched a brilliant video on this site: “How To Extend WordPress With Custom Post Types & Custom Fields Using PODS”.

I have PODS, beaver builder and themer installed so I can follow along the video and create a CPT for Historical Figures and create a template for it. But in terms of how best to style a template to display the material, I am lost. I don't know what components in Beaver Builder (and I can buy add-ons if required) to use, whether I should put the results in a slider of some kind…just drawing a blank (never designed a site before). I'm pretty certain leaving it as it is is not great, but I would really value your suggestions as to how to design it afresh and what Beaver Builder components (including add-on components) would best suit the material.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    All the best

    Christophe

The modules that come with Beaver are quite limited. You could accomplish that with PowerPack or Ultimate Add-ons For Beaver Builder.
