Im using Astra Theme with Beaver Builder, Beaver Themer, Ultimate and Powerpack add-ons and also PODS add-ons for custom post types and custom fields. Can Elementor compete with this? Money to pay for licenses is not an issue.

    Best regards,

    Mattias

    Hi.

Is there a reason that you want to switch to elementor since you are already using another page builder?

Elementor can do pretty much anything that beaver builder does and you can find many more plugins that add elements. The only thing that may get difficult is if you have different menus on different pages using beaver theater but there are also plugins to give this capability. In my opinion if you have already build a page with a page builder you stick with it cause it is hard work to move to another page builder. But if need want a feature that is only in elementor or it is time to do an update to your website layout then go with elementor and the extra plugins.

I am in this process right now. My reasons for changing is I really like the modules that Elementor has and find that I can create a better looking website, without custom CSS, using Elementor.

The real answer is to wait and see until Elementor 2 is released sometime in February when they are releasing their Beaver Themer feature set in Elementor Pro (not an extra purchase).

I am also excited at the possibility of Elementor working with WP-Types on an integration. Then it will be the ultimate tool for building websites. WP-Types is the best as the complicated custom backed stuff, but making content look pretty is a disaster for a non-coder. So if they have something special coming with Elementor, I am all ears.

Really looking forward to see what Elemetor 2 can bring to the table and if they include WP-Types also wow “super exciting”

I have a number of sites that were done with Beaver Builder. A few use the Beaver Builder theme and a few use the Astra theme. Is there a “best way” to migrate from Beaver Builder to Elementor?
