QuestionsFree membership plugin for WordPress
John asked 1 year ago

After watching a ton of your videos, I'm closer to my answer but not completely there.

I'm trying to build a membership website with thrive themes. I've thought about using memberpress, memebermouse, and wishlist but it may be overkill.

I currently have thrive themes and all I want to do is create a members area with a members only blog (may have courses but not necessarily), a forum, and a way to display pdf documents in posts.

It's for my labor union and I feel like I'm so close to the right solution but just not there yet.

How can I make this happen? What's recommended?

While I strongly suggest a paid plugin for WordPress memberships, but I understand that some folks will want a free plugin.

You can check out S2Member, but I can't comment on how reliable it is and if you will receive any support.

Paid Memberships Pro Is what I use the plugin is free however you don't get support. And will often have to lookup there addons in github. There support is good just some of it you will get (put this in your themes functions.php file) But For a free plugin it does the job well.
