I am in the process of building a new website. As I started to look into resources for building a modern website, I came across a few options. Building via a theme, page builders(elementor or beaver builder), etc.
I am thoroughly confused about the face if I need a page builder or not :-).
I would detail my plans on the website a little so you can help advice? Much appreciated! For now, I plan to develop a simple blogging website with an optin form where emails can be collected. For the next six months, the focus will be to add video and text blogs, collect emails, put some ads on the website. Post that, I plan on adding products and services to the website (once I have a certain base of people who follow). I do want to invest time in the beginning to do things right and to make sure that website has a professional/modern look.

Well no one really needs a page builder. That being said, if you want the area below the header and above the footer to look good without having to learn how to write custom code, then a page builder is the ideal tool for you.
Now you are wanting to create a blog, but you will also want various pages, like a homepage, a contact page, etc. These are easily done with a page builder. Blog posts, if you want them to look attractive and engaging, then you can use a page builder for those, right now I would recomend Elementor.
