    Hey Adam,

Used Child Theme Configurator for clients website. So, I go back to check out themes page and I discover that the child theme (generatepress PRO) is not activated – even though I logged activation of child when website was launched. I am puzzled. I am curious should I just create a new child theme vs CONFIGURE an existing Child Theme (which I fear may become messy). Your thoughts appreciated.

Tom has already created the child theme for you.

    http://generatepress.com/api/themes/generatepress_child.zip

So there is no need for Child Theme Configurator

Download the child from the url I gave you. Go to Appearance, Themes, Add New, Upload Theme and select the zip file you download. Press Install now and wait. When it is done it will ask you to activate. You can also go again to Appearance, Themes, select the child theme and press activate
