Hey guys, I recently started a website in Divi, but I came across Elementor and really like everything it offers. So, I'm trying to change over, but I don't want to lose everything. I understand I may have to build out each page in Elementor, but how do I go about doing that?

Do I activate the Elementor plugin? Then start building pages?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Dear Jordan, I am new to this myself and waiting for the Elementor course download from WPCrafter. If you are unable to activate both builders at once AND if you do not get advice from someone more experienced, try this:

-Deactivate the Divi Builder. Refresh the screen and see what elements stay on screen and what disappears. If you feel you can fix the pages through Elementor, activate Elementor and start making changes.

    hope that helps a little.

I am new at this too. I started out with WP Hueman theme. I created some pages, but now I want to switch the pages over to Elementor. I can edit the pages with Elementor, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the Hueman footer, social buttons, or title across the top. Can anyone help me?

I would suggest creating a staging site version, most web hosts offer staging sites. You can rebuild the pages there, then push the staging to live.

Staging is a copy of your website so that you can work on it and not disrupt the live website.
