Not posting in Beaver Builder as I don't think that's what the problem is. And I can't post screenshots here (bummer) so I'll try to describe the issue.

I am using “How To Extend WordPress With Custom Post Types & Custom Fields Using PODS” from this site as a model (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9K2VWuUkwE&lc=z23ken4wcs31wz0deacdp431hp1juogohrcfznp3fthw03c010c&feature=em-comments).

I created the equivalent of Portfolio Items. Mine is called Historical Figures. I create a POD, a template/theme layout in Beaver Themer and added new historical figures (items) to test that the template was working. When I view theme, they display individually as per the template , which for reference is a simple two comumn row, with a picture in the first column and two text fields in the second column. All three fields are custom fields of Historical Figures, created with PODS. So it all works till now.

But what I want to do is to create a page with all those items displaying (there will eventually be 40 items in Historical Figures). So I followed along with the video and created another theme layout in Beaver Themer for the archive page, which I had enabled in the first theme layout (I did nothing else about the archive page: I know zilch about them). Then I edit it with page builder, as per the video, using default components (no add-ons). I am used the List, gallery and masonry layouts just to try things out. problem is, the items do not display at all as per the first theme layout create for individual items (which was phot on the right, two text fields on the left…simple). Instead, all I get is the Title, Author and date and read more, none of which I want: none of the PODS fields show (photo and text fields). So those little blocks do display as masonry, grid or list as I choose, but they're not the items created in Historical Figures, and not the theme layout I created for those individual items.

I have obviously missed a step, but I have played through this video 7 times and I cannot see where it all goes wrong, particularly as everything else works.

I wish I could show you screenshots, but I hope the above is understandable (it won't be unless you have watched that video yourself and used PODS and Beaver Themer).

Please let me know where I could look to fix this. all suggestions welcome.

    Thank a lot

This is how an archive page works. You are limited to the layout that Beaver Builder gives you.

You can try to contact PODS to get a little help. They have a way to get you closer to the layout it sounds like you want.

Were you able to find a solution? I am running into the same issue.
